FRIENDS OF KINGSDOWN

We are a small group of people passionate about getting the best for the children of Kingsdown School.

We would love for you to join us when it is convenient for you, we have regular meetings discussing plans for the future, we like to hold events such as school discos, fund raising bazaars, sponsored walks etc. To host these events it takes volunteers, we need you.  Any help is appreciated, you can drop in and out when it suits you.

Our focus this year has been getting a new mini bus.  The Variety cub agreed to provide the majority of funds for the bus, we needed to raise £20,000 towards it.  We did it!!!!

There were many different ways we were able to raise money this year, from the Easy Fundraising App, earning the school money every time you shop to The Christmas Bazaar and raffle which raised £2,600, the sponsored walk raised over £4,000. Donations from individuals came to a whopping £3175 and one family raised £1284 completing their own sponsored bike ride.
