SENSORY DARK ROOM

The Dark Room is a specialist area with a dual purpose. By following specific personalised targets pupils develop their visual attention and tracking skills. They experience and develop an understanding of cause and effect and environmental control, primarily through the use of switches, but also through ‘roller ball’ and ‘joystick’ controls. The pupils access the Dark Room on a 1:1 basis with a member of their class staff.
